Refresh Your Soul in South Korea

From bustling shopping districts & cultural sites to serene landscapes & a dazzling drumming show, savor the many sides of Seoul.

About Your Trip

Delve into the heart and soul of Seoul with a range of tour stops that showcase the ancient and the modern. Your first outing brings you to N Seoul Tower, a former radio station built in 1969. From an observation deck, you’ll get a great panorama of the city’s intriguing landscape with 360-degree views. You’ll head next to the bustling, artsy Insadong district, and stock up on souvenirs and crafts such as pottery and traditional tea sets. After lunch, depart for Gyeongbokgung Palace, the former home of royalty during the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897). Downtown, you’ll visit Gwanghwamun Square, home to several statues of historically significant figures. Then, at nearby Cheonggyecheon Stream, stroll the paved pathway set with bridges, waterfalls and parks.

During your next full-day tour, venture to the outskirts of the city, away from the crowds, to Namiseom Island, a tranquil island-art community. It formed in 1944 due to dam construction and boasts a peaceful hideaway with wide open spaces and wildlife. After lunch, you'll watch the spectacular, award-winning musical “Nanta” as it captivates with traditional samul nori music — along with acrobatics and magic. End your day at one of the city’s busiest shopping districts, Myeong-dong, made up of high-end retail shops and department stores.

What we love:
• Set on Namsan Mountain in the center of the city, N Seoul Tower stands 780 feet (238 meters) high, with the observatory level at 453 feet (138 meters) in the air.
• Crafts in the Insadong district may date back to 57 B.C.
• The 1395 Gyeongbokgung Palace is part of the larger Gyeongbokgung complex of gates, bridges, pavilions and historical buildings.
